Nearly: Before We Met

Before you met, you were already close.

Maybe you were at the same concert in 2019. Or walked past each other in Madrid, ten minutes apart. Nearly finds those moments, using the photos you both already have.

HOW IT WORKS
• Each of you scans your own photo library. Nearly reads only the date and place of each photo.
• Swap your traces by holding your phones together and scanning a QR code, or send them as a file.
• Each phone finds the times you were in the same place at about the same time, years before you met.

YOUR STORY
• How many times you nearly met, and the closest call of all
• Every moment on a map, with the place, the date, and how close you were
• The photo you took right then, and theirs too if you swap photos
• Replay: fly through your story moment by moment, to the day you met
• A beautiful card to share with friends

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your photos never leave your iPhone. The trace you share contains only places rounded to about 100 m and times rounded to the minute. It goes straight from your phone to your partner's, by QR code, AirDrop or Messages. No accounts, no servers, no tracking.

NEARLY PRO
Free: your count, your stats, your closest call, your first moment and the share card. Nearly Pro unlocks every moment, the map, the replay and photo swaps. It's a one-time purchase with no subscription, and with Family Sharing one purchase covers you both.
