NeatPaste: Clean & Check Text

NeatPaste cleans up pasted text and lets you compare key values with the original before you copy, export, or share it.

Choose from three cleanup modes.

Smart Clean
Rejoins broken lines, removes extra spaces, changes curly quotes to straight quotes, and removes unwanted invisible characters.

AI Clean
Removes # and ## heading markers and ** emphasis markers from AI responses while keeping bullet markers intact.

PDF Repair
Rejoins lines copied from PDFs, repairs words split by end-of-line hyphens, and removes lines that contain only page numbers.

You can also run individual actions for line breaks, spaces, quotes, blank lines, full-width characters, dashes, and emoji. Only the selected action runs.

■ CHECK EACH CLEANUP

After every cleanup, NeatPaste compares numbers, amounts, dates, URLs, email addresses, phone numbers, lists, headings, and other items before and after formatting.

If nothing changed, you can continue to copy or share. If something changed, the app shows the affected category and count.

■ COMPARE WITH THE ORIGINAL

Open Check from the bottom bar to list the amounts, dates, numbers, URLs, and other values in your text. Add the original text to see whether any values changed. Check never rewrites your text.

Viewing the results, checking invisible characters, and copying the verification record are free.

■ COPY AND EXPORT

Copy the cleaned text, export it as a PDF, or share it. Undo restores the text from before the last cleanup. You can also send text to NeatPaste from another app's share menu.
