NECCA Evros Interpretation

The "NECCA Evros Interpretation" app provides a modern experience of exploring protected areas under the jurisdiction of the Management Unit of Evros Delta and Dadia National Parks.

NO INTERNET ACCESS IS REQUIRED TO USE THE APP.

Visiting the Evros Delta and traversing the routes of Avantas becomes easier and more interesting by using your phone as a guide. The routes in Avantas in particular are the following:

• Waterfall – Mitero Complex
• Ai Giorgis – Koumaries Route
• Cave – Agia Marina Route
• Agioi Theodoroi
• Gimno Cycle

The basis of the system is the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology in collaboration with a network of transmitters installed on the routes and at specialized points.

The transmitters have been installed in various points of interest with a variety of themes, such as the natural environment, the history of the place, culture, etc.

The system is activated when your device approaches one of these transmitters.

Once this occurs, the app presents you with a wealth of information in the form of text, photos, videos, etc. about the point of interest assigned to each transmitter.

All you need to do is turn on your device's Bluetooth!

The aim of the application is to highlight the protected areas under the jurisdiction of the Management Unit of Evros Delta and Dadia National Parks and to encourage different groups of visitors for new experiences.
