Needsy: Chapter Planner

Needsy is a planner for the chapters of your life. A wedding, a move, a first baby, a new job, the year you finished school. Each chapter gets its own quiet space, its own countdown, its own list of things that matter.

This isn't a to-do app. It's a place where the things you're planning have weight: the venue list, the budget, the photos that pile up, the people you need to talk to. When the chapter ends, Needsy writes you a quiet recap of what you did and helps you close it. Then you start the next one.

What you can track

Tasks with subtasks, dates, photos, and locations from a built-in map.
Notes with simple markdown.
A budget for the whole chapter, with a category breakdown and a clear running total.
A timeline view with a today indicator and milestones that auto-complete.

Your year, at a glance

A profile with a yearly activity heatmap, a Life Map of every chapter you've started or closed, and a closing recap that writes you a short, personal summary when a chapter ends.

On-device intelligence

Apple Intelligence runs on your iPhone, not in the cloud. Your data stays with you. The morning insight and the chapter recap are written on the device, with no network call. Requires iPhone 15 Pro or newer, iPhone 16, iPhone 17, or M-series iPad. Older devices fall back to a clean templated recap.

A quiet home on your phone

Home Screen widgets in three sizes, with a cover photo and a live countdown.
Lock Screen widgets in three families: circular, rectangular, inline.
Siri shortcuts.
VoiceOver and Dynamic Type up to AX3, with a 4.5:1 contrast palette.

Privacy that's actually default

No analytics. No third-party tracking. No cloud accounts. iCloud sync is optional and stays inside your private database. Apple can't read it and we can't either.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Account Settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you start a paid subscription.
