Description by Grove LLC(from the App Store)
Never miss a set. Just lift.
Nextset is the hands-free gym timer built for people who actually lift. Tap Start once at the beginning of your workout - then put your phone down. A clean chime plays every time it's your turn to lift. No fumbling, no forgotten timers, no tapping between sets.
HOW IT WORKS Pick your set time and rest time. Nextset auto-cycles - lift, rest, chime, repeat - so you can keep your focus on the bar.
THE LIVE ACTIVITY DOES EVERYTHING Drive the whole session from your lock screen. Pause, resume, skip to your next set, or end the workout without ever unlocking your phone. Glance at the Dynamic Island between sets - your countdown is always there.
KEY FEATURES
• One-tap start - enter your set and rest times, hit Start, pocket your phone • Live Activity + Dynamic Island - full controls on the lock screen • Auto-cycling work/rest - no more manual resets between sets • 8 chime sounds - Chirp, Ping, Bell, Triple, Whistle, Alarm, Gong, Pop • Repeat the cue 1–5× in a row so you never miss it in a loud gym • Plays over music - ducks Spotify or Apple Music briefly, then resumes • Whole-workout estimate - tell Nextset your set count, see your total time • Unlimited or targeted sets - go forever or cap at 8, 10, 12, 16, 20 sets • Dark, minimal design - built for low-light gyms and sweaty thumbs • Works in your pocket - no need to keep the app open
MADE FOR LIFTERS Bench, squat, deadlift, overhead press, accessories - if you rest between sets, Nextset works. Heavy compounds, supersets, drop sets, AMRAPs, timed holds. Plate-loaded, cable, machine, barbell, dumbbell. Doesn't matter.
NO ACCOUNTS. NO SUBSCRIPTIONS. NO ADS. NO PURCHASES. Nextset doesn't sell your data or push notifications. It runs locally on your device and only makes a sound when it's time to lift.
TIPS • Try 45s set + 2m rest for compound lifts • Try 30s set + 60s rest for accessory work and supersets • Use Triple or Alarm in loud commercial gyms, Bell or Gong when you lift solo • Set a target number of sets to see exactly how long your workout will take
Each subscription will automatically renew 3 days before the expiration date for
the same time period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the renewal.
