If there is a lack of data known or verified about a URL, or if a scammer attempts to elude an unexpecting user with a fraudulent URL; in either of the previously mentioned scenarios, the NFO IQ app will display a red shield. The red shield will alarm and warn users to stop and closely examine the scanned URL before proceeding further. This proactive method will help prevent scams. When there is sufficient data about a URL and no indication of a potential scam, the Scan Notice will display a message and or information about the URL along with a green or yellow shield.
