Description by RCB REMOTE SERVICES LLC(from the App Store)
Record what your neighbors are doing, and export a dated report you can actually send.
NoiseCase runs in the background while you sleep. It measures sound levels over time, flags disturbances, and turns the night into a PDF with timestamps, durations, and the address where it happened.
BUILT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY
Most sound apps give you a number, and a number on its own is easy to argue with. NoiseCase reports how far each disturbance rose above your own room's quiet level — a figure that stays the same even if the microphone calibration is off. Sustained noise and brief impacts are counted separately, so nobody can claim you are logging door closes.
Every report states the calibration used and the date it was measured. The calibration cannot be typed in by hand; it is measured from a quiet room, so the numbers are not something you can dial up.
NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE
No audio is recorded or stored — the app reads sound levels and discards the sound itself. No account. No servers. No analytics. No ads. You choose what to share and when.
HOW IT WORKS
- Calibrate once, in six seconds, so readings suit your specific phone - Start a session and lock the screen — recording continues with the display off - Add a note about what you are hearing - Review sustained events and brief peaks for each session - Export one night or an entire case as a dated PDF
WHAT IS IN A REPORT
- Every session with its date, time, duration and location - A chart of sound levels across the session - Sustained events: anything above your threshold for three seconds or longer - Brief peaks: shorter impacts such as slams and shouts - How far each event rose above the background level for that session - Your notes, and the calibration on file
PRICING
Recording is free and unlimited. You pay only when you export a report — either once, or unlock unlimited exports permanently.
NoiseCase is not a certified sound level meter. Decibel readings taken with a phone microphone are estimates. Timestamps, durations, event counts and rise-over-background figures do not depend on calibration and reflect what the device recorded.
