Northpace is a focused fitness and wellness app for iPhone and Apple Watch. Three workouts, done well — no social feed, no streak pressure, no ads, no account. Open it, do the work, get on with your day.

THREE WORKOUTS

• Norwegian 4x4 — the high-intensity interval protocol from published cardiovascular-fitness research: a warm-up, four rounds of four minutes hard and three minutes easy, then a cool-down. Live heart-rate zones, a phase countdown, and pause/skip controls.

• Breath — twelve guided breathing patterns with a calm animated pace-keeper and optional haptic cues, so you can practice with your eyes closed and custom audio playback for setting your own ambiance: Wim Hof, Box, Resonance, 4-7-8, Physiological Sigh, Triangle, Alternate Nostril, Extended Exhale, Diaphragmatic, Buteyko, Bhastrika, and Kapalabhati. Each pattern’s cadence is grounded in published breathing research. Add your own audio to the breath work and edit it.

• Rucking — an open-ended weighted hike with GPS distance, pace, and elevation, a route map colored by your heart-rate zone, and load-adjusted calorie estimates (Pandolf equation).

HEART RATE, YOUR WAY

Take live heart rate from your Apple Watch, AirPods Pro 3, or a Bluetooth chest strap (Polar, Wahoo, Garmin, and more). Every workout is heart-rate-zone driven and saves to Apple Health when you finish.

No account, no ads, no analytics, no third-party trackers. Your heart rate, workouts, location, and audio stay on your device and in your own Apple Health — we never see them, and the app makes no network connections of its own.
