Every message is encrypted on your device before it leaves. The server stores encrypted data it cannot read. Only you and the recipient hold the keys.

BURN TIMER FROM 1 MINUTE TO 3 MONTHS
Set how long a message lives after the recipient opens it. When the timer expires, the message is cryptographically erased — gone from both sides, unrecoverable.

Your private keys never leave your device. Back them up with a 24-word recovery phrase only you control. Ocean's Wave cannot read your messages, recover your keys, or restore your conversations. This isn't a policy — it's enforced by the cryptography.
