Okayno

Tired of feeds built on fake positivity? Okayno is the social network for honest dislikes — vote on the things that get on your nerves and find the people who hate the exact same stuff.

WHY OKAYNO

Every other app rewards you for liking. Okayno flips it. You tap "okayno" on the topics that bug you. Soggy fries. Slow walkers. Group chats that won't die. The little stuff nobody admits out loud, plus the bigger annoyances everyone shares.

It's cathartic. It's honest. And it turns out shared dislikes bring people together faster than shared loves ever did.

HOW IT WORKS

• Open the feed, see a topic, tap to okayno it. Or let the timer skip it.
• 25 free okaynos every 8 hours — enough to vent without burning out.
• Hit the limit? Buy a 25-pack of bonus okaynos that stack on top of your free ones, no timer reset.
• See the global ranking of the most-hated things, updated live.
• Join communities of people who hate the same topic.

FIND YOUR HATE TWINS

The "Same" tab is where it gets addictive. Okayno crunches your votes against everyone else's and shows you the people whose dislike profile matches yours the most. Soulmates of contempt. Filter globally, by country, or by city. Connect with the ones who hate your exact list.

MORE FEATURES

• Live ranking of the world's most-hated topics
• Communities per topic — see who else can't stand it
• Profiles with bios, socials, and a "hated together" thread
• Block, report, and full account-deletion controls built in
• Push notifications when someone connects or shares your top hates
• Multilanguage: Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese

PRIVACY & SAFETY

Your votes are never shared publicly with your name attached. "Same" matching uses opt-in location and aggregated similarity, never raw vote dumps. You can delete your entire account from inside the app at any time — Postgres row, Redis state, the whole pile. Real wipe, not just a deactivation.

WHO IT'S FOR

• Anyone fed up with performative positivity
• People who find venting cathartic
• Friends who want a new way to bond ("oh god, you hate that too?!")
• Anyone who knows the relief of being honest about what annoys them

A NOTE ON "HATE"

Okayno is about everyday dislikes — food textures, traffic, weather, software bugs, behaviors, abstract concepts. It is not a place for harassment, slurs, or targeting people, ethnic groups, religions, or identities. Moderation, blocking, and reporting are built in from day one. Hate the topic, not the person.
