One More Goal, U Fired

You're at your desk. The big match is on. Your boss, Gary, is not a fan.

One More Goal, U Fired is a pixel-art arcade comedy about watching soccer at work. Tap the left or right of the screen to switch windows on your ancient office computer: the spreadsheet, the chat, the email... and the stream you're definitely not watching.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Watch the match to build GREED. The longer you stare, the more every goal you see is worth.
• Gary comes by. Listen for his footsteps, watch his reflection in the mirror behind you, catch the glint off his glasses. Be off the match before he looks.
• Bail at the last possible second for a CLOSE CALL. See the goal and dodge his look in the same instant: UNBELIEVABLE.
• Sometimes he wants a particular window. Sometimes he stops for small talk. Don't peek.
• Off the match you get drowsy. Fall asleep and the day's over. Get caught twice and you're fired.
• Make it to 5 PM.

A WHOLE SHIFT
• Three matches a day: a group game, a knockout (extra time? penalties?) and the derby at 3.
• Penalties, VAR offside checks, a full shootout. Gary times his visits to every other kick.
• On some days the CEO walks the floor. He doesn't give warnings.
• A new shift every day, the same for everyone. Compare how late you lasted.

• 11 easter eggs, collected into a starting XI.
• A performance review at the end of every shift, ready to share.

HOW IT WAS MADE
I designed and directed this game. The code was written by an AI (Claude), and that code draws every pixel and synthesizes every sound. No image or audio generators, no stock assets.

It's not slacking. It's synergy.
