Take a photo of the label
A medication bag, a prescription sheet, a supplement bottle. Ontimo reads what's on it and fills in the name, the dose and the times. You look it over before it saves. Sometimes it gets a line wrong, so it's worth a glance.
Before anything is sent, Ontimo checks the photo on your phone and tells you if it's blurry, too dark, or just the QR code, so you can retake it straight away.
Or type it in
Adding things by hand is free and there's no limit on it. Same for the reminders and the history.
Reminders that match the real schedule
Morning, midday, evening, before bed. Or every 4, 6 or 12 hours around the clock, if that's what the label says. Medicines you only take when needed are kept separate from the daily ones, so the two don't get mixed up, and can have up to four fixed times of your own.
One reminder per dose; tap "Remind me in 10 min" if you need another. Times stay put when you travel or the clocks change.
See what's next, and what was missed
Today shows the next dose coming up. Anything past its time and not ticked is marked Overdue, right next to it.
A photo of the pill itself
Add a picture of what each one looks like. Useful when there are six boxes on the table and half of them are white tablets.
Big text
Useful if you're managing this for a parent and they can read the screen themselves.
History
Ontimo notes what was taken and what was missed. Handy at an appointment, or for settling whether you took it this morning. If you start looking after someone new, you can clear the whole list and the history in one go.
Privacy
No account, no sign-up. Your list and your history sit on the phone. We don't have a server that holds them. The one thing that leaves is the photo you scan, sent over an encrypted connection to Anthropic's Claude to be read. Before it goes, Ontimo covers the name and birthday it finds on the label. Ontimo doesn't keep a copy. You can also lock the app with Face ID or your passcode.
Scanning
Ten scans free. After that, a one-off pack of 20 scans, and you buy again when you run out. They don't expire. Not a subscription, and no ads.
Ontimo reminds you to take things. It isn't medical advice. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about your medication.
