PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your voice recordings never leave your phone — no part of Orato uploads audio. Speech is transcribed by Apple's speech recognition, on device whenever your language's offline pack is installed. On an iPhone with Apple Intelligence your coaching is written on device too, with no account. Without Apple Intelligence, or with Pro's "enhanced AI coaching" (off by default), only the transcript text — never your audio — is sent to our coaching service. Your recordings stay with you.
