Description by Sirui Li (from the App Store)

Original Pictures captures images of a natural, detailed look without artificial sharpening or heavy processing.

The app uses RAW pipeline to output JPEG files directly, preserving the original texture and color from sensor. This avoids the common issues seen in normal camera apps, such as over-sharpening, aggressive noise reduction, or HDR fusion artifacts.

Comparing with similar apps, Original Pictures offers:
1. Access to low-level RAW parameters, including exposure compensation, RAW boost, tint, white balance, and an optical stabilization toggle.
2. No complex features or image filters running in the background. The app is optimized all for a lightweight, responsive, power-efficient everyday shooting experience.
