Orlan – Card Game

Orlan is a traditional Aramaic card game. Its name comes from the Aramaic word for the jack, the most powerful card in the game.

The idea is simple: play a card to capture cards from the table, and score points at the end of each round. A number card captures the cards that add up to 11 with it, a queen takes a queen, a king takes a king, and the jack sweeps up every number card and jack on the table. The 2 of clubs, the 10 of diamonds, the clubs and the biggest pile all score. The first player or team to reach 21 points wins.
