OverBiscuits helps you record them — before those memories are gone.
Whether you're capturing your own life story or sitting down with a parent, grandparent, or someone you love, OverBiscuits turns guided conversations into a beautifully written book and audiobook your family will keep for generations.
One conversation at a time.
THE QUESTIONS YOU ALWAYS MEANT TO ASK
Over 320 guided prompts spanning childhood, love, career, and wisdom — organized by life chapter. Some will surprise you.
Just pick a chapter and press record.
YOUR VOICE, PRESERVED FOREVER
Record audio directly in the app — we transcribe automatically. The waveform stays. The laughter stays. The way they pause before a hard memory — that stays too.
No typing required.
AI THAT LISTENS BETWEEN THE LINES
After each answer, OverBiscuits asks thoughtful follow-ups like: “You mentioned your grandmother’s kitchen — what did it smell like?”
The kind of questions nobody thinks to ask — but everyone wishes they had.
A BOOK WORTH KEEPING
Your stories are transformed into beautifully written chapters — not raw transcripts. Edit if you want, then export as a PDF. A family heirloom you can print, share, or pass on.
LISTEN TO THEIR LIFE
Turn every chapter into a narrated experience. Choose from multiple voices and listen like a personal audiobook.
BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY
Cookie Jar lets up to 5 storytellers record their lives while 10 readers follow along, read chapters, and leave comments. Invite family with a code or email — and build something together.
MOMENTS — QUICK STORIES ANYTIME
Not ready for a full chapter? Capture a standalone memory: “The meal that reminds me of home.”
*“A lesson I learned the hard way.”
A meaningful story in minutes.
NO INTERVIEWING SKILLS NEEDED
No equipment. No training. Just you, someone you love, and a question that opens a door.
Start the conversation tonight.
Free to try. Cookie Jar unlocks family features and unlimited access with a 7-day free trial.
