PainDA פותחה על ידי חוקרים מאוניברסיטת חיפה, אשר מעוניינים להבין טוב יותר את מנגנוני הכאב הכרוני, המאופיינים לעיתים גם בתחלואה נילווית של מצבים נפשיים.
אנו מחפשים תובנות חדשות על כאב כרוני, על ידי ניתוח פעילויות חיי היומיום, הפיזיולוגיה והתפיסה של הסובלים מכאב כרוני, באמצעות צמיד חכם. זאת, במקביל להערכת רמות הדיכאון והחרדה.
