Park Education

Park Education is an organization that was founded in 1996. Park has the goal of producing digital material for language studies, as well for business, technology and creativity bilingual and interdisciplinary studies. Therefore, English is learnt as students learn other subjetcs. It offers an application that can be used by both teachers and students.

Held by innovative spirit, it uses a highly effective method, in order to conduct research, elaboration, creation and development of content that makes possible the acquisition of a second language in a natural, fast and pleasant way as the student goes on improving his knowledge on matters related to business, technology and creativity, which are mandatory for a successful life.

The language acquisition method used by Park has been widely applied and has a massive approval from users. According to it, students first learn how to speak, only then they develop the reading and writing abilities. Grammar rules are only taught when they have reached fluency, following the same process of native language acquisition. All the new vocabulary is presented through images and sounds. The students first learn how to pronounce the word and understand its meaning by associating the sound with an idea expressed in an image. Following that, students are going to practice this new knowledge, experiencing these new words and structures as they talk about their lives. Therefore, the concept is learning through the students’ life experience. Teacher guides are built based on an effective statistical usage control of vocabulary and structures of the studied language, which enables retention and consolidation of content. Thus, students have the opportunity to systematically practice all this new vocabulary and structure, because they reuse the learned words throughout the training process in a controlled way.
