Parqist

Welcome to Parqist, the APP that helps you to quickly find a parking space or profit from helping another user with parking*. With Parqist everyone wins.

Parqist allows you to establish a partnership between a user who has his car parked and is about to leave and another user who is looking for a parking space, so that the parking place can be exchange. You start in Parqist with 3 PCoins (Parqist's internal currency) and in the main menu you can choose to advertise/give a parking (get PCoins) or looking/get a parking place (lose Pcoins).


Looking for a Parking Place


To look/get for a parking place all you must do is select one of the markers on the map and have PCoins in your account. Each marker represents a parking space occupied by another Parqist user. Each user can request a different amount of PCoins. In case of a successful match, all you must do now is reach your partner's position within the time set on the timer and… swap places!

Please pay attention to the following points:

• In case the timer ends before you reached the position of the parking place, the user who advertised the place can cancel the partnership and claim the PCoins.
• In case the timer runs out before the user who advertised the seat reaches the car, you can cancel the partnership without losing the PCoins.
• The minimum time allowed on the timer for a match to begin is 5 minutes. This is the user who requested the parking place always has the minimum of 5 minutes to reach the location


Advertise a Parking Space


To advertise/give your parking space just do:

1) Share your vehicle’s location.
2) Define the time for leaving the parking space and the PCoins to be received.
3) Wait for the Partner and change the places.

Pay attention to the following points:

• The shorter the time indicated, the smaller is the distance allowed between 2 users for a partnership.
• It is necessary to update the status with the button "I am in the car" to publish the precise and final position of the parking space. Publishing a starting position of the parking space with an error greater than 150 meters will give your partner the chance to cancel the partnership or to continue, but only pay half of the agreed PCoins in the end of the match.
• When your partner is close enough, activate your hazardous lights (“four flashers”).
• There is the option on the main menu to save the parking space position when you park your car, this will facilitate the publication of your parking space later.
• In case of the timer runs out before the your status is updated to “I'm in the car”, the user who was looking/got the parking place can cancel the partnership and report misconduct.
• In case of the timer runs out before your partner arrives, you can cancel the match and claim the PCoins


PCoins


PCoins are the Parqist's internal currency and are necessary for those looking for a place to enter into a partnership and change parking spaces. There are several ways to get PCoins:
• Advertise a parking space and enter into partnership with another user.
• Send invitations to friends: 1 PCoin for each new friend who joins the Parqist community.
• Buy PCoins from the market or from other users*.
