Pathways Awarua: Numeracy is a sequenced pathway of over 180 interactive modules developed for adult learners to strengthen their numeracy knowledge and skills. Users are able to select between general, trade or service versions of the numeracy pathway.
Interactive The modules are carefully structured. As users move through each module the teaching scaffolds are removed until the learner is more independently using the new concept or skill. Each module includes a sequence of screens, which actively engage the users in learning tasks. The users interact with the content through drag and drop, multi-choice, check-box, highlighter, draw, and open-answer question types.
Own pace and level Users can freely move between the different steps (levels) on the pathway to find modules that meet their next learning needs.
Tailored feedback Users receive immediate and customised feedback on their answers.
Progress tracking Users can create their own account on the Pathways Awarua website to track their progress. Users accumulate points and certificates for questions answered.
