HOW IT WORKS
Looking to adopt? Create your profile in under a minute. Tell us how you live — apartment or house, kids, other pets — and we'll show you dogs that fit your lifestyle. Swipe right if you're interested. If the owner or shelter approves you, it's a match! Chat in-app and set up a visit.
Need to rehome your dog? Upload photos, share their story, and explain why you're looking for a new home. Review interested adopters, approve the ones you trust, and coordinate everything through chat. No more scattered Facebook posts or WhatsApp threads with strangers.
WHY PERREO
— Adoption through matching: no more lost posts on social media. Connect directly with verified adopters or dogs that need a home.
— Smart filters: size, energy level, age. We show you dogs that match your lifestyle.
— Built-in chat: coordinate visits and get to know the adopter or the dog without leaving the app.
— Bilingual: available in Spanish and English for everyone in CDMX.
— For owners and shelters: whether you're an individual rehoming your dog or a rescue organization, Perreo gives you the tools to find the perfect home.
— 100% free: no fees, no commissions. Just dogs finding families.
Mexico has over 23 million street dogs. Perreo was built to change that — one adoption at a time, starting in Mexico City.
