Photo Frame for Tablet

Turn an old iPad or iPhone into a beautiful digital photo frame.

Photo Frame for Tablet gives a spare device a new job on your desk, shelf or bedside table. Choose your favorite family photos, pick a frame and let the photo slideshow run. Your photos stay on your own devices: no account, no cloud uploads and no third-party ads.

Beautiful digital frames

Pick a frame that suits the room or the occasion, from clean and modern to warm wood, gallery mats and vintage styles. Holiday frames add gentle touches like falling snow or confetti. Minimal and Classic are free, and Pro unlocks the full collection.

Private Wi-Fi photo transfers

Send new photos from your iPhone in seconds. Open Receive Photos on the frame, scan its QR code with your iPhone and pick your photos. They go directly from one device to the other over your local Wi-Fi network, encrypted along the way, and are never uploaded to a cloud service. Both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. If the code won't scan, enter the 4-digit code shown on the frame.

Smooth photo slideshows

Full-screen slideshows that keep the screen awake. Show photos in order or shuffle them, choose 5 seconds to 1 minute per photo, and fit the whole photo or fill the screen. Works in portrait and landscape on iPad and iPhone. Fade and Slide transitions are free. Pro adds cinematic transitions such as Ken Burns, plus an Automatic mode that uses a new one for every photo.

Smart Framing and Night Mode (Pro)

Smart Framing keeps faces in view when photos fill the screen. Faces are detected on your device, and nothing is uploaded. Night Mode dims the frame during the hours you choose and gives photos a warm, dark look, so it is easy on the eyes at night.

One-time Pro purchase

The slideshow, Wi-Fi transfers and the free frames and transitions cost nothing. Photo Frame Pro is a single purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks every premium theme and animation, Smart Framing, Night Mode, frame style options such as mat color and photo size, and future premium themes. Try any Pro theme with a short preview before you buy.

Privacy and security:

- Photos are stored only inside the app on your device
- Transfers work only between devices on the same local network, over a private link that ends when you close Receive Photos
- Every transfer is encrypted, with a new key each time
- Scanning the frame's QR code also checks that your iPhone is sending to that exact frame
- If you pair with the 4-digit code, use a Wi-Fi network you trust, such as your home network
