Photo GPS Tagger

Photo GPS Tagger helps add shooting locations back to photos from cameras, action cameras, smart glasses, and other devices that do not record GPS location.

Before shooting, start recording a GPS track on your iPhone or iPad. After shooting, select photos or a folder. The app reads each photo's EXIF capture time, matches it with the nearest local track point, and writes GPS location information back into the photo metadata.

Tip:

For accurate matching, start track recording before shooting and make sure your camera time matches your phone time. Photo location matching depends on capture time and locally saved GPS tracks, so it cannot recover locations that were never recorded.
