PhotoField は、ポートレートのライティングとレンズのボケを、物理ベースでリアルにシミュレートするアプリです。機材やスタジオがなくても、光の当て方ひとつで写真がどう変わるかを、手を動かして確かめられます。
■ リアルなライティングシミュレーション
実際の光学にもとづいて、被写体を照らし直します。
・逆二乗則による減衰、露出(EV)、ハイライトの白飛びまで再現
・ソフトボックス／アンブレラ／ビューティディッシュ／スヌート／リングライト／ストリップなど、道具ごとに変わる「光質」
・光源の大きさ＝影の柔らかさ、色温度、照射範囲を1灯ずつ調整
・パワーは段(1/1〜1/256)で設定でき、キーとフィルの比率が体で掴める
・狙った点に届く光を示す「露出計」で、光の強さを数値で確認
■ 3Dで光の回り込みを確認
被写体のまわりにライトを置いて、指で回しながら、立体に光がどう回るかを確認できます。三面図(TOP／SIDE／FRONT)の配置と行き来しながら、狙いどおりのライティングを組めます。
■ レンズ選びをボケで検討
・絞り・焦点距離・センサーサイズからボケをシミュレート
・「同じレンズを別のカメラに載せたら」「画角を保って別レンズに持ち替えたら」の2モード
・新しいレンズを買う前に、ボケ量や写りの違いを試せます
