Description by Playsum(from the App Store)
Find gaming friends who play the games you do! Playsum is the safe, inclusive, and free app for finding gamer friends, hanging out with your friends, and buying and gifting video games.
Created by online community safety experts, Playsum helps you discover new people that play the games you play, easily see what games your current friends share in common, and hang out in a cozy community.
Whether you play video games or tabletop games, First Person Shooters, Life Sims, RPGs, or others.
The gaming community has long been ripe with toxicity and gate-keeping, especially toward underrepresented people. Playsum is a safe and inclusive community for women, LGBTQ+, people of color, neurodivergent people, and everyone!
Why Playsum?
• Playsum is safety and inclusion by design at its core. Designed by safety experts, Playsum is committed to utilizing innovative safety features to ensure it remains a cozy community.
• Playsum is gate-keeping free. Our definition of a gamer is anyone that enjoys playing games, whether you’re competitive, casual, computer, console, or mobile.
• Add all the games you want to play or discuss with others. 5 million+ games to choose from!
• Easily filter and discover other gamers who play your games, on the platforms you play on!
• It’s 100% free to search for and add gaming friends. There are no limits that require paying to search for more friends. Access to friends should never be paywalled.
• Chat with your friends with seamless messaging that supports reactions, gifs, replies, message editing, and link previews!
