Log your beach trips with the name, date, location, conditions, and a star rating so you never forget your favorite stretches of sand. The Trips tab keeps your coastal adventures sorted chronologically, letting you relive that perfect sunrise walk or stormy stroll at a glance.

The Shell Log is a dedicated field journal for beachcombers. Record every find by common name and scientific species, note which beach and when you found it, add observations about color, size, and shape, and mark whether you photographed it. Twenty sample entries — from rare Junonia volutes to Lightning Whelks and Flamingo Tongues — help you see the log in action the moment you open the app.

The Tide Guide covers twelve named beaches across the Pacific Coast, Gulf Coast, and Atlantic Seaboard. Each entry lists morning and evening high tides, afternoon and overnight low tides, and typical tide heights in feet — a handy reference for planning your next shelling trip, sunrise walk, or tide-pool exploration.

Everything in Plover works completely offline. Your trips and shell finds are stored privately on your device. No internet connection is ever required.
