Pocket Gene

PocketGene is a digital healthcare app that provides users with comprehensive genetic information by analyzing their genomic data. PocketGene card shall be received through diagnostic partners (or) at the time of testing at hospitals. After registering with the basic details, user can link PocketGene cards to the app. PocketGene’s vision is to accelerate the adoption of Genomics in healthcare setups by making accurate and consistent genetic information accessible and portable for the public and healthcare professionals, that can be easily carried in their pockets.

The current version of the app gives you information on Primary findings, which defines genetic alterations in genes that are relevant to the diagnostic indication of the test performed.

Some key features provided are:

Link card: User will be able to know the status of their genetic test results after linking the PocketGene card to the app. The physician can check the results of genetic variants and decide on the appropriate treatment options by linking the user's card. User can also link cards of their family members in their login.

Unlink card: When the user unlinks genomic card, the app will no longer retain any information about that specific card. The user can re-link the card at any point of time.

View Primary Findings: In this module, user can view the number of variants detected for each test. The physician can view the details of the variants along with its pathogenicity.

Delete account: On tapping, all your personal and card information will be deleted permanently.


For Patients

Proforma: Patients can raise the proforma request in the app for a specific module and disease condition. The requested proforma will be sent to the registered email ID.


For Physicians:

Add to Request: Physicians can select multiple variants for the final clinical report generation. The report will be sent to Physician's registered email ID.

Request Report: The physician can raise a clinical report request for the variants of interest. It will take around 8-10 business days to get test report after the testing is done. The app will notify once the results are ready and it will be sent directly to the physician's registered email ID.
