PocketCam Viewer lets you use a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Mac as a camera and watch its video with sound on another device signed in to the same Apple Account through iCloud.
CHOOSE YOUR ROLE
Open Camera mode on the device near your pet, then choose Watch mode on your other device. Find available cameras with thumbnails and connection status, and choose the one you want to watch.
CHECK RECENT ACTIVITY
Motion and sound detection creates a timeline of recent events. Filter by event type and open the related video to see what happened. Return to the current camera feed when you are ready.
CONTROL YOUR VIEW
Mute or unmute playback, adjust the available volume control, and switch between cameras. On supported camera devices, turn the camera light on or off remotely.
BEFORE YOU START
• Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on both devices and connect them to the internet.
• Allow camera access on the camera device. Microphone access is needed to include sound.
• Keep the camera app open in the foreground while using Camera mode.
• Video arrives with a delay that depends on the connection and processing time.
• Video is stored temporarily for recent activity playback. Videos older than 10 minutes are periodically deleted.
