When AutoSweep is enabled, idle fund or excess cash in your securities account will be automatically used to subscribe money market funds of your choice using the idle fund or excess cash in your securities account. The return generated by money market funds is generally higher than bank deposit interest. And when cash is needed for share settlement purposes, AutoSweep will automatically redeem the necessary amount of money market funds to cover for your share purchase. Money market funds are the most liquid type of mutual funds.
