Pofu: Learn Languages by Play

With Pofu you don't memorise a language, you play it. Hear the word while you pop candy, read the road sign in a race, smash the right answer in Brick Breaker. 11 languages, 18 games, and in every language more than 4,000 words and 489 chapters from A1 to B2.

11 LANGUAGES
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and Polish. The app speaks your language, and every word is taught with its meaning in your language. Japanese shows furigana over every kanji; Korean starts with hangul. Alphabet lessons and letter tracing take you through a new script step by step.

18 GAMES, ONE LEARNING LOOP
• Candy Words, Brick Breaker, Word Blocks, Word Loop, Letter Rain, Word Sudoku, Match, Word Catch, Word Maze, Pin Spin
• Word Runner, Car Race, Space Battle, Penalty, Hill Drive, Platform Adventure, Tank, Commando
• Every game has its own worlds, stages and sounds; new worlds open as you go.
• The word you meet today, you hear in the next game and write in the one after. Words come back inside the games right before you would forget them.
• Friend codes, a weekly ranking and a leaderboard for every level of every game.
• Spend the gold you earn on characters, outfits, frames, vehicles and pets; all of them show up in the games.

THERE'S A COURSE TOO
• Every chapter: a short narrated story, picture word cards, questions and games.
• Every word comes with an illustration, real recorded audio, a definition and example sentences.
• Grammar topics: explanations, typical mistakes and 30–40 exercises each.
• Parrot: repeat the story aloud and get your pronunciation scored.
• 389 illustrated storybooks in every language, A1 to B2. They're read aloud with each word lighting up as it's spoken; tap a word for its meaning, sound and example sentences, and save it to your words. Rhymes and songs too.
• Colour-coded words: if you like, nouns, verbs and adjectives each read in their own colour; in German, French, Spanish and Italian the article's gender shows in colour too.
• All voices are free for everyone; listen and pick the one you like.

DIARY AND AI TEACHER
• Diary: write or say a few sentences a day in the language you're learning. Spelling and agreement slips are marked right away.
• AI teacher: improves your entry with the smallest fixes, explains every slip in your own language and opens the right grammar topic. It suggests words to practise and an idea for tomorrow's entry. One send a day is free, three with Plus.
• Home-screen widgets: your streak, the word of the day and one-tap play.

FOR FAMILIES AND TEACHERS
• A report every evening: what was learned and where it got hard.
• Guide mode is PIN-protected; purchases and settings are closed to players.
• With Plus, one account holds 3 players, each with their own progress.
• Teachers connect students with a class code and see the class report.
