TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT

Download the tour before arriving: mobile coverage in Pompeii is not optimal
Wear comfortable shoes: the ancient streets are uneven
Bring headphones and a fully charged phone or a power bank
Remember to bring water and stay hydrated, as there are few shaded areas in Pompeii.

A little quote for the road:

"[...] in Pompeii, the private life of the ancients is revealed to you just as it was."
Madame de Staël — Corinne, or Italy, 1807

Admission tickets to the archaeological park are sold separately, and some areas of the park require a special ticket.
