Pool Calculator & Care Log

Thank you for using Pool Calcs and for the care you put into every pool you look after. Your attention to readings, cleaning, and follow-up makes a difference. Pool Calcs puts the numbers and the work history in one place, whether you care for your own pool or serve customers.

Start with the size of the pool. Enter measurements in American or Metric units and get a volume estimate you can use when planning water care, equipment work, or a service visit.

Pool volume calculators cover:
- Circular and rectangular pools
- Square pools
- Elliptical and oval pools
- Free form and bean shaped pools

Keep the everyday math close at hand:
- Convert area, distance, volume, flow rate, and pressure
- Switch between Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin
- Estimate rainwater collection
- Review a Langelier Saturation Index estimate for water balance

A pool profile gives each property its own history. Record its capacity, shape, surface, sanitizer, filter, pump, climate, and notes. Search and sort your pool list when you need to find a detail on site.

Build a useful water test log:
- Save free and combined chlorine readings
- Record pH, total alkalinity, and calcium hardness
- Track cyanuric acid, salt, and water temperature
- Keep the test date and notes with each entry

When you add a product, save its name, amount, unit, reason, and optional before and after readings. A chemical dose record helps you see what you used last time, while a maintenance log keeps cleaning, filter work, pressure checks, equipment notes, and seasonal tasks with the pool they belong to. Save calculator results for later, too.

For service work, the Service tab helps you move from today's list to a finished visit:
- See scheduled, due, and unfinished visits
- Open an address in Maps when one is saved
- Record water readings, treatments, tasks, notes, and photos
- Keep equipment details and repair or upgrade estimates
- Follow up on recommendations awaiting a decision
- Share a service report with your business details

Record the service plan, visit date, and work completed. For each visit, you can enter revenue and direct labor or chemical costs to see a simple contribution estimate. Keep those numbers beside the notes for the job, ready to review before the next visit.

Create a customer once and assign multiple pools to them. The customer’s name, email, and phone stay shared, while each pool keeps its own service address and history. If you choose to allow Contacts access, you can import customer details from Apple Contacts and confirm updates before replacing saved fields. Your pool records remain available without Contacts access.

Insights and Care Habits help you review the work over time:
- Review water chemistry trends and compare readings across pools
- See filter pressure and treatment trends
- Check off daily care habits and follow your progress
- Review saved tests, treatments, visits, and maintenance in one pool history

Pool Calcs is a practical companion to your own testing and judgment. Follow product directions and local guidance when making chemical or maintenance decisions. With measurements, service notes, and pool history together, the next visit starts with the facts you already recorded.
