Pounce: tile jump strategy

Pounce is a board game for two players. It combines elements of Xs and Os (tic tac toe) and Checkers.

On your turn, place a tile on any empty cell, or pounce: leap your tile over an opponent's tile to convert it to your own.

Win by lining up four tiles on the 5×5 board, or six on the 7×7; across, down, or diagonally. Each player has one to three pounces a game, so spend yours wisely!
Games against the AI and in pass and play save on their own, so you can leave and resume them later.

CHOOSE HOW YOU PLAY
• Solo against the AI on Easy, Intermediate, or Hard
• Pass and play with a friend on one iPhone or iPad
• Online through Game Center, with a friend or someone new; each turn waits up to seven days

CUSTOMIZE YOUR GAMEPLAY
• Optional blocked tiles: a few random cells close at the start of a game
• 5×5 grid for a quick game, 7×7 for a long one
• Set how many pounces each player gets in pass and play and online
• Optional hints: a shimmer on lines one move from finished, or marks where the AI could win next turn

KEEP SCORE
• Twelve Game Center achievements, from your first win to ten wins in a row against the AI
• Wins, losses, and draws against the AI and online
• Your best winning run, and your fastest win against the AI at each difficulty and board size
