Pre-Shift

Pre-Shift is the training platform built for restaurants. It turns your menus, wine lists, cocktail programs, and service standards into personalized training for every member of your team.

Instead of generic quizzes or paper manuals, Pre-Shift generates questions grounded in your restaurant's actual content, so your staff learns what they need to know to take care of your guests.

HOW IT WORKS
Your restaurant's knowledge, menus, wine lists, cocktail specs, service documents, is uploaded to Pre-Shift. The platform generates training modules, assessments, and adaptive challenges based on that content. Every question traces back to a real item or standard in your operation.

FEATURES
-Training Modules: Structured lessons covering food, wine, cocktails, and service knowledge specific to your restaurant.

-Build a Lesson: Custom algorithms generate a focused lesson on any topic your staff wants to study, complete with reading material and a graded assessment- all from your actual provided menus.

-Weakness Challenges: Adaptive sessions that target each staff member's weakest areas, identified through their performance history.

-Assessments: Timed evaluations that measure knowledge across your entire program; fully customizable by management.

-Diagnostics: Comprehensive baseline tests that identify where each team member stands based on a robust ELO system.

-Knowledge Base: Browse your restaurant's full menu, wine list, and cocktail program with detailed information on every item.

-Ask Pre-Shift: An inline chatbot that answers staff questions about your menu, ingredients, pairings, and service standards- grounded in your restaurant's actual data to prevent hallucination, and fine-tuned to answer questions better over time.

-Rankings & Stats: Track your progress, see how you compare to your team, and earn badges as you master your restaurant's program.

-URL Establishment/What's New: Set the url's of all your digital menus to have our software listen for changes, and stay current with menu changes and updates as your restaurant evolves.
