PreFree Care

PreFree Care is a home recording app for pregnant women at elevated risk of preeclampsia. Used alongside care from your treating physician, PreFree Care lets you keep a structured record of key parameters at home and share them with your care team through the PreFree system.

HOW IT WORKS
Your treating physician sets a measurement schedule for you in the PreFree system. PreFree Care shows you what is due each day, sends reminders at the scheduled times, and lets you record your values in a few taps. When you enter a blood pressure value, PreFree Care compares it against fixed thresholds derived from published clinical guidelines (DGGG, ISSHP, NICE, AWMF) and shows you a next step — for example, to re-measure, to complete a short symptom report, to contact your treating physician, or to present at a clinic. The thresholds and the decision logic are fixed; PreFree Care does not make diagnostic or therapeutic decisions.

INTENDED USE
PreFree Care is intended for use by pregnant women aged 18 to 45, between 20+0 and 40+6 weeks of gestation, identified by a qualified healthcare professional as being at elevated risk for preeclampsia or related complications. PreFree Care does not replace clinical judgement and does not verify or assess contraindications — patient selection and clinical decisions are the responsibility of your treating physician.

DATA & PRIVACY
Your data is transmitted encrypted to your treating physician via the PreFree backend. PreFree Care does not sell or share your data with third parties. See the Privacy Statement in the app and on our website for details.
