Progression is $9.99 a month, $69.99 a year, or $99.99 once, forever.
EVERY NUMBER IS SHOWN, AND EVERY NUMBER IS ARITHMETIC
Estimated maxes come from Epley, Brzycki and two others, and Progression tells you which one it used on each point — so changing your preferred formula does not silently rewrite your history. Volume is counted as hard sets per muscle per week and you can see the count. No black box. No score you cannot check.
YOUR RECOVERY DATA ACTUALLY CHANGES THE BAR
HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and wrist temperature are read each morning and turned into a load multiplier — shown as one auditable line, not a colour or a vibe. Other apps tell you to take it easy. This one moves the weight.
COMPOUNDS FIRST. LARGE MUSCLES FIRST. ALWAYS.
The most common complaint about generated workouts is small muscles fatigued before the big lifts. Progression sorts every session by movement pattern and muscle size before it shows it to you.
331 EXERCISES, AND A REAL EXPORT
Markdown, JSON and CSV, complete, at any time, free. CSV-only export behind a paywall is how these apps hold your training history hostage.
WHAT IT COSTS
$9.99/month, or $69.99/year — $5.83/month, 27% under Fitbod annual, with 112 generated programs a month.
Or $99.99 once. Hevy's lifetime is $74.99 and Hevy does not generate programs. A lifetime purchase here is granted once and never expires — and it is keyed so that a restore, a re-install or a family-sharing regrant lands on a purchase already honoured.
The first seven days are free. What it costs after that, and the day the first charge lands, are both on the paywall before you start; cancelling in Settings during the trial stops it.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
• No paywall that switches you to annual when you selected monthly.
• No credits, no consumables. You are never charged for a program that fails.
• No weekly subscription. Your log is exportable in full, free, forever.
