Description by Ashraf Elshami Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
Qibla compass helps you find the direction of the Qibla (the Kaaba in Mecca) wherever you are. Hold your phone, turn around, and the app guides you with a live compass and with sound and vibration that get faster as you face the right direction.
The app is made to be accessible: it works for blind and low-vision people through sound, vibration and screen reader support, and for deaf and hard-of-hearing people through vibration and clear visual views.
What the app does:
The app finds your location, reads your phone's compass, and works out which way you need to turn to face the Qibla. It updates continuously as you move, and shows the result in a view you can choose.
Views:
- Compass: a live radar-style compass that points toward the Qibla.
- 2D world: a flat map of the Earth showing where you are and the direction to the Qibla.
Sound and vibration guidance:
You don't have to keep looking at the screen. When you turn to within about 60° of the Qibla, the phone starts to beep and/or vibrate. The closer you get, the faster it pulses.
