Finally, a personal finance app built for Muslims — not adapted for them.
Connect your bank accounts and Qist automatically tracks your spending, categorizes transactions with Islamic context, calculates your zakat obligation, and helps you give with intention.
WHAT QIST DOES
— Bank sync via Plaid. Your accounts, balances, and transactions update automatically.
— AI auto-tagging. Transactions are categorized when they sync. Halal-aware, donation-aware.
— Zakat calculator. Live nisab threshold based on current nisab reference values. Your hawl progress is tracked day by day, and your obligation is calculated from your connected accounts and manual assets.
— Donation tracking. Sadaqah and zakat payments are identified from your transaction history and organized by organization.
— Smart budgets. Set monthly budgets per category. Qist analyzes your spending and suggests realistic amounts.
— Ask your money anything. Built-in AI assistant answers questions about your finances in plain language, such as “How much did I give YTD?” or “Why was my spending high last month?”
BUILT FOR THE WAY MUSLIMS HANDLE MONEY
Most finance apps were not built with Islamic obligations in mind. Qist treats zakat, sadaqah, and halal-aware spending as first-class features — not afterthoughts.
PRIVACY & SECURITY
Bank connections are read-only via Plaid. Your credentials are never stored by Qist. Access tokens are encrypted using Supabase Vault. Qist never sells your data.
