Questrover is a fantasy RPG you play by reading, choosing, and rolling dice. Read the notice, find the client, hear their story, and set out.

In forests and old castles, in tombs and deep below the earth, every scene asks for your judgment.

■ Read, doubt, choose

Draw your sword, start talking, or take the risk. Your attribute dice decide how it turns out. Follow a client's request far enough and you may find a truth very different from the one you were told. The same quest can end in different ways depending on the path you take.

■ Your own adventurer

Choose a class: Fighter, Wizard, Rogue, or Cleric. Then choose your origin, where you grew up and what you did there. Your origin strengthens your attributes and checks, clients recognize your past, and that experience pays off along the way.

■ Every piece of gear is a die

New gear means a new die. Swords and shields, spellbooks and staves: all of them are dice. Roll, then place your dice on skills to attack, block, and heal. Place them yourself or leave it to Auto place. Find new weapons and armor and prepare for the fights ahead. A small dog companion tags along and joins the fray.

■ Follow the rumors to a bigger story

The launch version holds 87 quests, each one crafted by hand. A quest does not end when it is done: clients and the people caught up in their troubles turn up again later. Some quests carry the main story, and some form chains of their own. People remember the choices you made before.

■ Leave your mark

Look back on the events you lived through and the monsters you defeated in your Lore. The habits and weaknesses you learn fight after fight become clues for the next adventure, and achievements earn you heirloom relics.

A clue you missed earlier may reach you later through someone new.

■ Companion cards

Send your adventurer to a friend as a code or QR, and they will join your friend's adventure as a companion.
