The new Relay connection gets you in even when a direct link won't — behind NAT, on a locked-down network, no public IP, no port forwarding. Auto mode tries a direct connection first and falls back to Relay on its own, so you just connect and go.

BROWSE FILES TOO
Need to check a log or grab a file? The built-in file browser is off by default and only starts listing files after you enable it. On macOS, the QuickTUI server may also need Files & Folders or Full Disk Access after opt-in. QuickTUI does not collect or upload user data.
