Rabbi Steevax

Study the Torah with your head as much as your heart.

Rabbi Steevax walks you through the weekly parasha, one passage a day. Read the text first, then see what the sages say, where they disagree, and what the historical reading says. In the end, you draw the conclusion.

EVERY WEEK
• The parasha in short passages, with reading time
• Hebrew (with or without vowels, optional transliteration) and translation
• Read-aloud audio that follows each verse, plus the whole parasha told in a few minutes
• People and places underlined in the text: tap a name to learn who it is

UNDERSTAND
• Ask about any verse: Rashi, Ramban, Ibn Ezra, Sforno… summarized and quoted
• The text's contradictions, openly: what the text says, the traditional answer, the critical reading
• Debates: a common claim, the objection, the best reply
• Maps, timeline and family tree

APPLY
• Practical teachings for your week, with a challenge to take on
• A 26-question quiz per parasha; every answer teaches you something

LISTEN
• The podcast "Rabbi Steevax · The Torah in Two Voices": Léa and David tell the parasha every week

AND ALSO
• The Jewish holiday calendar, and an app that changes its look for Hanukkah, Purim, Passover, Shabbat… (sober on days of mourning)
• "The Rav's Table": every real step of your study serves you a dish, Sephardi or Ashkenazi
• A study streak that Shabbat and holidays never break
