Rakkan: Chat Translator

Rakkan is a chat app for couples who don't share a first language.

You type in your language, your partner reads it in theirs, and it actually sounds like you. Not a robotic word swap. Rakkan learns the context of your relationship, your nicknames, the way you talk to each other, the people and places you mention, and it keeps that context in every message.

Every message shows you how it reads back in your own language, so you always know exactly what your partner sees. And when a phrase would land wrong in their language, Rakkan warns you before you send, or simply asks which meaning you meant.

Languages
The app itself speaks 23 languages, including English, Thai, Khmer, Lao, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Hindi, Korean, Japanese, French, German, Italian and Slovak, and it translates between almost any language pair automatically.

Private by design
Rakkan is made for two people. Conversations are private, between adults who have accepted each other's request. You must be 18 or older to use it.
