RallyTrak

Rally timing has always required dedicated, expensive hardware. RallyTrak changes that.

Slip your iPhone into your jersey pocket, start a stage, and ride. RallyTrak validates every waypoint via GPS, scores your time the moment you cross the finish, and pushes results straight to the event leaderboard. No transponders. No batteries to charge. No waiting days for the timing crew to publish results.

Built on the OpenRally standard. Tested in Baja and Nevada with real rally riders.

— FOR RIDERS —

• Record any stage with GPS. The app handles waypoint clearance automatically.
• Wall-clock timing — pauses don't game the system.
• Background location keeps recording even with the screen off.
• Offline-first. Lose signal in the desert? The app saves locally and uploads when you're back in range.
• Connect a Bluetooth heart rate monitor (any standard BLE chest strap) and see your exertion alongside your time.
• Personal history — every stage you've run, in one place.
• Share results to Instagram, WhatsApp, and rider groups with one tap.

— FOR ORGANIZERS —

• Create an event, upload an OpenRally GPX file, parse stages automatically.
• Open registration with built-in liability waivers.
• Live leaderboards, per-stage and overall, with category filters.
• Penalty overrides and result corrections from a secure web admin.
• Built for clubs, schools, and regional championships — no $5,000 timing system required.
