Our mission is to meet our customers expectations by providing quality insurance products at a fair price to our valuable retail broker network and their insureds in a service oriented manner.


Since 2004, Shield Commercial Insurance Services has specialized in providing insurance products through our extensive broker network. We do not provide services directly to the public, only through our appointed brokers. We have forged relationships with highly rated insurance carriers in order to provide the highest quality product available in the marketplace. We have made it our mission to provide our brokers the simplest path to obtaining these products through personalized, quality customer service. The majority of our staff has been with us from the founding of the company and are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We pride ourselves on making every effort to ensure you are completely satisfied each and every time you have contact with us.

How this works

It’s easy…


Once you have your policy bound, your agent will send your information to the carrier. The carrier processes the application and orders a rapid shield report in our system. Once that happens you will be emailed a link which will take you to the appropriate device app store to download the Rapid Shield App. This App is free, so there is no cost to download it.
Downloading should just take a minute or less depending on your internet connection.

When rapid shield opens you will be asked to enter the username and password provided on your email. This will give you access to the survey. You will see a screen which shows the address for the property being inspected along with some additional policy information. If this is correct, proceed to the next step. If there are errors, please contact support by pressing the envelope icon at the bottom.


Once everything is correct and you have moved to the next page, you can begin the survey. Most questions have yes, no, and I don’t know options. You will need to know the approximate living area of your property, the year it was built, and some other basic information. You will be prompted to take photos when any are needed. Don’t hesitate to use the flash and look at the photo before you save it to make sure it’s a good shot. Blurry and dark photos won’t be useful for the report.


Once you reach the end you will be provided the opportunity to double check your answers and finally submit the survey.

That’s it-you’re all done.
