Press record and it keeps going until you stop it. You don't have to listen back to all of it. Pick a start and end time afterwards, and transcribe just that part.
RECORD WITHOUT WATCHING THE CLOCK
About 7MB per hour. Leave it running through a meeting, or all day.
TRANSCRIBE ONLY WHAT YOU NEED
Pick the start and end time on a dial, the same way the iOS timer works, and play the range back to check it. Transcription runs on the iPhone itself; the audio is not sent anywhere. Ten languages are supported, including English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean.
(On-device transcription requires iOS 26 or later. Earlier versions are handled in segments.)
OLD RECORDINGS ARE DELETED FOR YOU
By default, recordings older than two days are deleted at launch. You can choose from one to fourteen days. Recordings that have not been sent yet are kept.
SEND THE IMPORTANT PARTS TO YOUR SERVER
Send just the range you picked. The server transcribes it automatically, and you can search and play it from a browser. The server is one you run yourself, and nothing is sent anywhere other than the address you configure.

ALSO
- Recording continues with the screen off
- Other apps playing video or music will not stop the recording (configurable)
- Recording is restarted automatically after a phone call interrupts it
- Switching to headphones or Bluetooth is detected
- Recording stops and tells you when storage runs low
- The original one-button record-and-send mode is still there
