A high-stakes, steampunk-themed cognitive training game that elevates the classic memory sequence mechanic into a thrilling industrial simulation. Built with rich, interactive physics and a dynamic audio engine, your task is to keep a volatile machine stable by matching rhythmic sequences of glowing, musical gears.

TACTILE, HIGH-STAKES GAMEPLAY

Physical Controls: Don't just tap a "Start" button. Grab and spin the heavy brass Ignition Valve to fire up the engine, and slide the Aperture Control to physically scale the gears while you play.

The Boiler Pressure System: Mistakes don't just cost you points; they build up dangerous steam pressure. Vent the pressure by successfully completing sequences, or face a catastrophic System Failure!

Overdrive Mode: Hit a flawless streak of 5 sequences to push the engine into Overdrive! The machine spins faster, the pitch intensifies, the core glows red-hot, and you earn double points.

4 ADVANCED COGNITIVE MODES
Train your brain with modes designed by cognitive science principles to stretch your working and spatial memory:

CLASSIC: The traditional sequence challenge. Observe the musical pattern and mirror it back.

SHIFTING: The engine plays the sequence, then blasts steam and physically shuffles the gears around the screen! Memorize the pitch and color, not just the location.

REVERSE (Working Memory Manipulation): Watch the pattern, hold it in your mind, and input the entire sequence backwards.

N-BACK (Continuous Memory): A relentless, never-ending loop. The engine doesn't stop to wait for you—you must constantly tap the gear that lit up exactly N steps ago while absorbing the new incoming sequence.
