Recito — Memorise Anything

Recito helps you learn any text by heart — poems, speeches, scripts, scripture, presentations or lines for a play.

Add a text by typing, pasting, or simply scanning it with your camera. Then let Recito coach you through it:

RECITE, AND BE HEARD
Start reciting and watch the words turn green as you say them. Recito listens and checks your recitation word by word, so you always know exactly where you are — and what you missed.

HIDE WORDS, RAISE THE BAR
Begin with a quarter of the words hidden and work your way up to reciting the whole text from memory. First-letter mode gives you just enough of a hint to keep going.

A PROMPT WHEN YOU NEED IT
Gone blank? Recito notices the silence and quietly reveals the next few words — just like a prompter in the wings. You can also ask for a prompt any time, or have prompts spoken aloud.

YOUR TROUBLE SPOTS, REMEMBERED
Words you keep stumbling on are highlighted in amber the next time you practise, so you know exactly where to focus. Get them right and the amber fades away.

LISTEN ON LOOP
Let Recito read your text aloud on repeat — with the natural, high-quality voice of your choice — while each word is highlighted karaoke-style. Perfect for the commute, a walk, or drifting off with your lines. Keeps playing with the screen locked.

REVIEWS THAT ARRIVE ON TIME
Spaced-repetition reminders resurface each text just before it starts to fade, so what you've learned stays learned.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your texts live on your device and in your private iCloud, syncing across your devices. Your voice is processed by Apple's speech recognition — on-device where your language supports it — and is never recorded or stored by Recito.
