Recycle-it is a community driven recycling application where users can help their community become greener by:

- Adding Recycling, Trash, & Pet Waste receptacles
- Updating locations to contain different types of receptacles as needed, or removing locations you added by mistake.
- Flagging receptacles locations when they are invalid or need administrative review
- Rating receptacles to help inform other users of typical status
- Finding nearby receptacles that other users have added and navigate to them

Using Quick Educational Reference Tools to:

- Learn more about the Five R's of recycling
- Have a quick reference to the different types of plastics that can and can't be recycled
- Learn about how to compost, what to and what not to compost, and the benefits it has on the environment.
