Reef Meister: Measure Salinity

MEASURE SMARTER. TRACK WATER QUALITY. KEEP YOUR REEF STABLE.
Reef Meister makes it easy to measure, monitor, and manage water parameters in saltwater aquariums. Whether you're maintaining a reef tank, marine fish aquarium, or multiple tanks, track salinity, monitor pH, and keep your water measurements organized — all in one app.

Use EasyDens, SmartRef, or pH2Go with the app to collect reliable measurement data in one place. Use SmartRef to measure salinity and pH2Go to monitor pH.

No measuring device? You can also enter readings manually.

MONITOR SALINITY & PH
Stay on top of your aquarium water conditions and maintain a stable environment for your marine life.

- Measure salinity in PSU, parts per thousand (ppt), or specific gravity (SG)
- Monitor pH to support stable water conditions
- Check measurements against recommended ranges for your aquarium type
- Identify changes in water parameters before they become bigger problems
- Track salinity and pH readings over time

RESULTS WITH CONTEXT
Go beyond the measurement and understand what your results mean for your aquarium.

- See whether your salinity is within the recommended range for reef aquariums, typically around 35 ppt (approximately 1.026 SG)
- Get measurement guidance based on your aquarium type
- Identify salinity changes early to support stable conditions for corals, fish, and invertebrates
- Understand your measurements to make more informed aquarium maintenance decisions

MEASURE SMARTER, CALCULATE LESS
Spend less time calculating and more time caring for your aquarium.

- Capture precise salinity measurements with SmartRef using just a small sample
- Benefit from automatic temperature compensation without manual correction tables
- Switch between salinity units without manual conversions
- Calibrate SmartRef with distilled water directly in the app
- Measure salinity with digital refractometer precision for consistent, repeatable results

MANAGE TANKS & TRACK CHANGES
Keep your aquarium measurements organized and use previous results to monitor water quality over time.

- Create individual logs for multiple aquariums
- Track salinity and pH over time with measurement graphs
- Save measurements with notes and timestamps
- Add notes for water changes, top-offs, and dosing
- Compare measurements to identify trends
- Find previous measurements and logs with full-text search
- Copy or share individual measurement results
- Export your data as PDF or CSV
