Referat: AI Meeting Notes

Referat records your meetings and lectures, transcribes them, works out who said what, and writes a summary with action items. Free. No ads. No subscription, no account and no minute limits – and your audio never leaves your iPhone.

RECORD WITH ONE TAP
• One big red button. Recording continues when you lock your phone
• See the time on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island
• Pause, and mark important moments as you go
• Import audio from Files, Voice Memos or the Share menu – video too

TRANSCRIPTS IN SEVEN LANGUAGES
• English, Danish, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Korean – Referat detects the language itself
• Speech becomes text right on your phone with Whisper
• Referat finds the different speakers – name them with a tap
• Tap a word to hear that moment again, and play at 0.5–2× speed
• Search one recording or all of them

SUMMARY AND ACTION ITEMS
• A short summary, the decisions and a checklist of action items with owners – in the meeting's language
• Written by Apple Intelligence on your iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro and later with iOS 26)
• Copy the summary into an email or Slack with one tap

SHARE IT YOUR WAY
• Text, Markdown, PDF, subtitles (SRT/VTT) or the audio file

YOUR MEETINGS ARE YOURS
Everything – audio, transcript and summary – stays on your iPhone. There is no server, no account and no tracking. The speech model is downloaded once, and after that Referat works entirely offline.

FREE. JUST ENJOY IT.
The whole app is free, with every feature, no ads and no subscription. If you're doing alright, you can become a supporter inside the app and get the show-off icons: extra app icons and a silly little game. Nothing gets locked, and freeloaders are still very welcome.

Remember to tell everyone in the meeting that you are recording.
